You may click the link to switch the active language.<\/p><strong>Hanoi (VNA) \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Vietnam\u2019s fruit and vegetable export value hit 3.5 billion USD in the first 11 months of 2018, up 11.6 percent year-on-year, said the Agro Processing and Market Development Authority (AgroTrade) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).<\/p>\n<p>China remained the leading market for Vietnam\u2019s fruit and vegetable exports, accounting for 73.8 percent of market share with more than 2.4 billion USD, an increase of 11.3 percent against the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>A forecast from the MARD said that in 2018, vegetable and fruit export value will grow about 10 percent year-on-year, much lower than last year\u2019s figure of 42.4 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Many fruits like durian, rambutan and mangosteen will enter harvest period soon, possibly causing declines in the prices of fruits.<\/p>\n<p>During January-October, Vietnam earned some 3.3 billion USD from vegetable and fruit exports, up 15.5 percent from the same time last year, said AgroTrade.
