A wide range of fertilisers, agricultural machinery, packaging equipment, pesticides and\u00a0and other products are on display at the third international exhibition for the fertilizer and pesticide industry at an expo\u00a0that opened\u00a0in HCM City today.<\/p>\n
AgroChemEx Vi\u1ec7t Nam 2019 includes\u00a050 local and international exhibitors, and is expected to attract\u00a0about 2,000 visitors.<\/p>\n
In addition to showcasing the latest products and services in the industry, the biennial event also features conferences on Vi\u1ec7t Nam\u2019s plant protection markets,\u00a0government regulations on the circulation of\u00a0plant-protection products\u00a0and other topics.<\/p>\n
It also includes a B2B Matching Programme to help businesses seek new potential partners.<\/p>\n
The exhibition is expected to be an ideal destination for enterprises to promote their brand images to a large number of\u00a0domestic and international clients. It will\u00a0create\u00a0opportunities for business matching, information exchange, and\u00a0business cooperation as well as technology transfer.<\/p>\n
Organised by Minh Vi Exhibition and Advertisement Services Company (VEAS), and the China Crop Protection Industry Association (CCPIA) under the support of the Vi\u1ec7t Nam Pesticide Association, the exhibition will run until June 12 at Equatorial Hotel in District 5.<\/p>\n
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vi\u1ec7t Nam has\u00a0demand for\u00a0over 10.3 million tonnes of fertilisers for agricultural production.<\/p>\n
With local production not meeting demand, Vi\u1ec7t Nam\u00a0spends\u00a0a large amount of money to import fertilisers and plant protection products each year, making it an attractive\u00a0market for\u00a0foreign companies.<\/p>\n
In the first quarter, enterprises imported about 989,000 tonnes of fertiliser\u00a0worth US$283 million.<\/p>\n
